Hi Michael,
I am just searching first before I post. But I will let you know my scenario
As the opening post said, currently on a heavly hacked phpbb2 site and I am trying now to see about the conversion process to vb before I move over. I know its nothing vbseo related... its a conversion issue.
I am more concerned with my old phpbb urls (3000 topics, 45,000 posts) with a lot of links have high rankings. Its the organic back links more so, as I know that the search listing will update eventually.
Do you see what I mean?
Well we have a tool that not even vbulletin offers that will 301 all of your old phpbb URLs to your new vbseo URLs.

Richie, you will definitely experience some period of fluctuation if you update from phpBB to vBulletin. Like Mike said, we do have a tool that can help with that. One very positive thing is that vBSEO in combination with our vBSEO sitemap will help accelerate the update.
If you can tolerate that period of transformation, then you'll end up on the most optimized forum plus SEO combination available out there: vBulletin + vBSEO.![]()
