Going to take the plunge again need some help

My Vbull is 3.73 My vbseo is 3.30

I want to go to 4.0 and 3.5

First off when I upgrade, do I have to disable the old vbseo?
When I upgrade, do I have to disable all current mods installed or just remove them and clean install the new mods?

You must disable all plugins (including vBSEO) previous to upgrading to vBulletin 4. After upgrading, you will need to re-install vBSEO as per the "upgrade" instructions in the readme.html included with vBSEO 3.5.

Yes it is also recommended that you disable the forums also, it isn't necessary but it highly recommended as last thing you want is someone posting while the files are only half up.
