Getting Ready to Launch My Forums

getting ready to launch my new forums and figured it'd be more ideal to start with a solid SEO product rather than switch half way through. Anyway, which version should i use, the stable 2.4 version or just start with the 3.0 RC2 version.

I dont mind running RC versions so thats not a real problem, just wondering if that much changes from 2.4 to 3.0 that it'll mess up my SEO attempts to start with, I'll be using it with the Sitemap Generator as well from the link above.

Already bought it, cant wait for 2CO to activate my stuff now

Re: Getting Ready to Launch My Forums

vBSEO 3.0.0 RC2 is as of now currently looking like a Gold release. However there is of course no specific deadline for its release. I have been running numerous BETA and Release Candidate versions, and whilst you are engaged with new functionality and feature refinements there are of course a few snaggling bugs and issues which need updated and fixed within each release.

If you are happy to deal and handle these issues then running a more feature release release candidate is probally the better option for you. However, release candidates are always considered unstable.

Exactly, there are no known bugs but it just kept in this state for a period of time to allow for additional bug testing and troubleshooting.
