    The future of vBSEO?

This thread - A Social Media Experiment: Winchester's Public Request to Juan Muriente, CEO of vBSEO - Admin Zone Forums - has me a little concerned, given that it alleges some concerns about the financial stability of vBSEO.

Before anyone of us invests any more in vBSEO products, can someone here comment on what this is all about? Can we in fact look forward to continuing upgrades and support from vBSEO? or is the product and the company struggl;ing to keep afloat?

You raise a legitimate concern. The fact that you've brought up this matter to our own forums makes clear the impact Mr. Ward's recent statements could have in Crawlability's bottom-line moving forward, and/or the damages he has already caused.

concerns about the financial stability of vBSEO.
vBSEO's revenue figures for the last six months (Jan-Jun 2011) are exactly 4.8% below our figures for the same period last year (Jan-Jun 2010). Considering the ongoing changes in the forum landscape, a difference of less than 5%, IMO attests to our continued commitment to the product, clients, and support.

Can we in fact look forward to continuing upgrades and support from vBSEO?
    Yes.

or is the product and the company struggl;ing to keep afloat?

    No.

    Final thoughts:
From that thread, it's clear to me that Mr.Ward has not yet realized his old boss is not only a "serial entrepreneur", but a "parallel entrepreneur":

The key to the parallel entrepreneur model working is getting the management part right. Each project, once it gets launched, needs focus and attention. Someone has to be minding the store. If parallel entrepreneurs can figure out how to make that part work, they might be able to operate in parallel forever.

I can attest to the challenges, especially after I took over the operational roles last year. However, I'm getting better every day, and that's something I'm proud of.
