Forum is subdirectory of Larger Site ... ???

Hi vBSEO,

I have a few questions for you before I potentially purchase your product.

1) First of all - what exactly is included with "vBSEO 3.2.0 Gold" that is separate from "vBSEO Sitemap Generator 2.2"?

2) Will I be able to use your sitemap generator tool given that my site is structured such that the forum is a subdirectory of a larger site:

www.midlifebachelor.com (the overall site)
www.midlifebachelor.com/forums (the forums subsection)

I currently maintain a manually-updated text-based URL list file that contains URLs of the entire site (except the forum subdirectory) which I then pass to a server script which then generates the google sitemap. In reading about your vBSEO Sitemap Generator 2.2 utility, it seems like it generates the WHOLE sitemap ... when ideally I would like it to just get the forum's URL listing out of it, then I'd add that list of URLs to the URL list for the rest of my site (and then run my server sitemap-generator script on it, etc.). Does that make sense? Can I do that with your product? If so - can you point me to some documentation so that I can educate myself on the complexity of me doing this?

vBSEO Sitemap Generator is only an addon which creates your sites sitemap. Thats all.

On the other hand vBSEO has lots of different options. Most important option is it turns standart vbulletin urls into static url format which will allow you to have better link consensus

Okay - so does "vBSEO 3.2.0 Gold" include sitemap generation utilities?

The reason I ask so many questions about the sitemap and sitemap generation tools is that my current sitemap (which does not include the forums, but does include the rest of my site) is an extremely critical asset ... I don't want to do anything with respect to my forums that would disturb the current pagerank for the rest of my site.

So does "vBSEO 3.2.0 Gold" include sitemap generation utilities? If so - is there some online documentation on it that I can look at? Thanks!

They are both seperate addons. vBSEO Sitemap Generator is a free modification on the other hand vBSEO is a paid modification but we strongly advise all our customers to install Sitemap Generator.
