I have a forum that is large, with: Threads: 105,596, Posts: 1,126,839 Members: 10,750 I have heard of database issues on huge sites, and while I'm very close to making a purchase I'd like to hear about any potential difficulties with installations. The forum is also located in a second tier directory (ex: http://www.site.com/topic/messageboard) and would like to hear if there are any tricks or challenges involved in a case like this. I have one day (tomorrow) to get this done and would like to know if it's going to be easy or if I should tell my wife not to expect to see me tomorrow Ian |

You can install vBSEO in any folder you want. The important factor is that your licensed domain should meet you forum url. Installation of vBSEO tooks maximum 15-20 minute with the initial configuration and settings. However if you donot have enbough tech knowledge you can always order our Installation Service |

I appreciate that. The test install on my test forum worked fine, so I'm running the full site backup right now and will be installing to the main board when I'm finished. In the meantime I guess I'll start the stats now: 43,200 pages indexed in Google for my forum currently Pages (374,417) | Inlinks (3,554) in Yahoo 16,200 pages in MSN So we'll see how it goes. I won't report Adsense earnings now...but I'm hoping that improves as well. From what I can see I really hope this works well, and I'll post an update as soon as the changes begin Ian |

instead of 'pages', track 'visits' from the search engines via google analytics. since vbseo reforms all the duplicate links from stock vB, you may end up with LESS url's in google, but none will be dupes. See my guide in my sig for help on getting set up in what i feel is the best way. |
