Question Few questions before going for 2nd licensce.

I have installed vbseo on a new forum and so far I was impressed with results, I am in a plan to add vbseo to another forum now.

This is a very heavy traffic forum, using vbulletin 3.5.4 without any additional seo and default vbulletin templates. I faced a little increase in server loads upon first install of vbseo on a new forum (this forum has around 25 - 100users/guests/spiders online on 10 minutes cookie timeout anytime)

The 2nd existing forum with heavy traffic has a minimum of 100-300 users/guests/spiders online @ any given point of time online.
    1. Will this cause a huge increaes in server load ?
    2. I have around 2,50,000 pages indexed in google am i going to loose them all ?

Please post your answers, before i confirm my purchase.

    Thank You.

    Hey Future,

vBSEO should run fine on your forums. It's highly optimized, so I'd say it wouldn't cause any problems.
If you encounter an increase of your server load, you can easily disable some (not so important) features (rewriting member profiles, next/prev thread links etc.)

All pages that you have indexed will be redirected to the new ones (using 301 rewrite rules.
Some customers did review there vBSEO expirience. Take a look at them, if you like

I would not expect a significant performance burden with that level of activity. However, as Phillip suggested, there are some additional performance tweaks that can be applied if you do discover that there is an impact.

Regarding the 301 redirects, they will help to get your new CRUs (content relevant URLs) indexed more quickly. However, remember that your indexed page count will drop due to the purging of duplicate content (this is a good thing).
