    A Few Questions

Hi, i am a new forum.. been working on it for a little over 2 weeks now. It's not really open yet but ready to open, it's a football (soccer) forum.. running vB and i was thinking about purchasing vbSEO.

Were not a website based on profit and we have no ads. I've looked over competition (first/second page results on google and others) and the competition isn't very strong IMO. Their layouts aren't great, forum softwares aren't very good.. i think 1/2 ran IPB and possibly 1/2 ran vBulletin (wierdly enough with the default skin..)

But these were still popular forums with members up to a couple thousand.

Taking all this into consideration, what could vbSEO do for my type of forum? I understand it would make my search engine results better but it's not garenteed to put me in the first couple of pages, so i'm not sure if it's worth the money as were not a profit based site we won't expect to earn the money back. This is an investment purely to get as close to first page as possible on all the top search engines aswell as getting lots of unique members joining up.

If i do choose to buy this and i'm hugely impressed by it i may decide to create another few forums, will i need to repurchase vbSEO for each forum or can i use the same license on each one? I'm guessing it's the same as vBulletin itself where i'd have to repurchase it.. but i don't want to buy 5 license and find out i only need the one lol.

    Thanks in advance,

If you are not a for profit forum, that's fine. However, in that case, you have to decide what the value of increased traffic is to you. Perhaps it is just the challenge of building a forum more successful than the competitors you noted, or perhaps because you really plan to build great content and want to get it out there to as many people as possible.

In any scenario, for whatever reason, if you want more eyeballs on your forum, then vBSEO is a good idea for you.

By the way, our focus with vBSEO is on the long tail, getting you thousands of hits from thousands of different keywords rather than simply targeting a small group of top priority keywords:

One vBSEO license is required for each forum you have. You cannot re-use the license.
