    expired questions

    first of all sorry for my bad English
    i have some questions

    when i had vbulletin 3.. series . vbseo worked good for us
    now after some time and lots of updates from vb, its now 4.0.8.
    dont like it but thats diffrent problem. vbseo stopped working after some time
    its saying
    Please wait...

    and nothing works anymore in vbseo panel
    i think u guys did this to renew license ?
    anyway after i renew for my vb version will vbseo start fully working again ?
    and a friend of my said the new vb versions dont need vbseo anymore
    is this true ? sorry for my questions but i really dont know what to do here
    hope some of u can say what is smart to do ,

    It was a known bug on an earlier vBSEO version. You are likely running an outdated vBSEO version on your forum and you need to perform an upgrade ASAP.

    That's not true at all. As I said above, it was a known bug, and you should upgrade your vBSEO instance to correct that.

    We can't force you to renew your license in that or any way, if you don't want to do so, you are free to run the vBSEO version you are using for life.

    Performing the upgrade will likely fix your issue, so yes, it should work.

    What your friend didn't tell you was that vBulletin 4 series *only* includes friendly URLs, and to do the SEO on your site, you don't need only friendly URLs, there are a lot of areas that must be "exploited", that's why the hundreds of settings of vBSEO can't be compared with the built in vBulletin "SEO" features .
