Effect on server load and overall..

Hello,

I have been reading up a bit on the server load and 'can vBSEO run on my server' questions and I would like to drop a question regarding my own situation.

Our situation:
We have a 1.5 million post messageboard with about 5,500 people visiting the messageboard on a daily basis. These visitors produce around 2,500 new posts every day and we have an avg server load between 0.30 and 0.50 (during peak hours).

Note: There is another forum hosted on the same server, which is about half of the messageboard described above.

Our server configuration:
Intel Xeon 3220-Quad Core
2GB RAM
Fujitsu RC Series MAX3147RC [147GB]
Western Digital WD Caviar RE 16 WD2500YS [250GB]
On a 100Mbit connection

Question:
Now the question is, what will be the effect of installing vBSEO on my server? Will I be able to cope just fine, or do you think I should already should be starting to think about putting a second server next to it? Because the 2nd server is currently not an option from where I am standing.

Thank you for taking your time to answer.

Your load is at a reasonable level for a single server backing an active forum.

I would not anticipate a significant increase to load by adding vBSEO. However, if load rises to a higher than expected level, we may be able to help pinpoint some optimization tips.
