Custom VB pages...

I currently have custom dynamic vBulletin pages that sit outside of the VB forums... Its ultimately my attempt at making a couple of CMS like pages/sections... therefore it is based off of VBs global.php

In preparation for VBSEO... what is the bare minimum that i need to do to make sure my future development allows for easy integration... my current sample urls have no titles but are short...

eg) index.php?do=reviews&avroomid=23

In the case of the above url... it is the page that exists for all the reviews/comments of users for a particular song... I assume that VBSEO will work as long as I am able to place a value for my 'title' which is usually the same thing as the URL...

Our CRR (Custom Rewrite Rules) module will handle those.

You are correct. If you add title information to the query string, you can also include those title keywords in the rewritten URL.

thanx... is that module extra? If so... how much?

When you say "query string"... do you mean, whatever variable value that i use to populate title?

So, VBSEO just looks at that title value to generate the URL?

Yes, the CRR module is included.

Query string refers to the variables in your URL, after the ? mark.

For standard threads, forums, and other vBulletin pages it can extra title information from the database. For non-standard pages, this information cannot be automatically retrieved.

You can establish compatibility with our CRRs, or via our vBSEO Extensions API.
