    1. We need FTP info. Our vBSEO Total Support Team completes everything on your behalf.

    2. Installation is subject to availability of staff. Turnaround is usually within 24 hours. And you request your installation at any time via a support ticket.

    3. Your basic installation will be completed in about 5 minutes. Your forum will be online while staff continues with the other configurations included in your install service.

    4. vBSEO optimizes all content in real time, on a page by page basis. Titles are based on the title of the thread or forum page, etc. Meta descriptions are applied automatically. You can use our Relevant Replacements to do additional optimizations on META tags if you desire.

My IT department does not want to give out the FTP code for the forum.

If we pay for the installation, could we instead have someone walk someone in our IT department through the installation?

Hi Karen, we do not do telephone or support via messenging.

We have a readme file that explains each step of the installation process. Your IT department may be able to handle the install. Here are some options:

    • IT department can try the install, and open a support ticket to get help should any issue arise.
    • You could create a temporary FTP account, and then disable it after we complete installation (or simply change the passwords).
We will also answer your questions at each stage of the installation. However, via a ticket or thread, the feedback response time is probably too slow to make it helpful for a real-time installation process.

Please have someone review the readme file. If they have any questions, prior to attempting the installation, we can definitively provide you with some preparative support.
