    Couple Questions

    I am planning on purchasing vbseo but i have couple questions in my mind.

    1. I own a vBulletin license and i can see the code , same with vba Gallery and etc.. Why is the code encoded in vbseo ? How can i trust vbseo is not reaching my data ? Or what is so different then vBulletin or vbadcanced Gallery ?

    2. I have a modified board and have important hacks. For example Geek Article and Review System. This is a major importance for me. As you can check here there is Table of Contents in GARS (which i renamed to içindekiler for turkish) Can that links also be vbseo'd and renamed to html or what ever i ask and if yes how can this be ? both thread name and table of content name ? Also i have vba gallery and can gallery be also vb seo'd ?

    3. My board is Turkish so i have non english characters in my thread names. I installed DC SEO vB URL Rewrite but i am not so happy with it. It causes problems with non english characters. May this be an issue with vbseo also ?

    4. My main concern is Jellsoft is a long time running company so i dont mind about paying 160$ for a license since it is a huge product. I can understand that vbseo is a real good addition to my board but i dont have any information about vbseo's background. What will happen if i but my license today and 6 months later vBulletin releases vb 4.0 and vbseo cannot upgrade their product to work with 4.0 ? Can i rely on vbseo as a company ? Paying 30-40 $ for a paid modification is something else but paying the same money as my vBulletin license to another mod is something else. Thats why i want to clear everything in my mind. I can easily say that i never see something like this in any kind of sales market. If there is an add on for a product the addon price is always lower then the main product license. But not in this case and because of this i have suspicious before purchasing.

    5. Is there a branding free option if yes whats the price of this ?

    I hope noone will get frustrated about this thread. I just want to make everypoint clear in my mind before purchasing .

    Thanks

    @Lizard King:

    See responses to each of your questions below:

    1. vBSEO is Zend/IonCube encoded to protect the commercial value of our source code. vBSEO has no interest in our customers' data. We are in the business of providing a vBulletin SEO product only.

    2. We have a featured called CRR (Custom Rewrite Rules) that allows our users to rewrite other hacks they have installed. Check out our CRR forum to find custom rewrite rules in use by our customers.

    3. We replace non-English characters in our CRUs with their English equivalents.

    4. We will release upgrades in conjunction with all new releases of vBulletin. Please visit our announcements forum to get an idea of the professional approach we take to the upgrading process.

    5. A branding free option will be made available in the future - the date of
    availability or price of removal has not yet been determined.
