copyright removal

Search for "copyright" here. Lots of discussion on it already... There are plans for the sale of a separate Branding Free License in the future.

Thanks very much for your reply. Unfortunately "the future" does not help me out now :/ I just can not understand how a paid product would force something like this on its users. But to each his own.

Interesting product but not yet ready for professional environments it seems :/

Hello and welcome to the boards.

The CR has been removed from showpost.php and several other pages. And a new feature that enables you to exclude pages from being affected by vBSEO has been added (it removes the copyright as well). However the CR notice remains in all the main pages as seen on this site.

Via the configuration file, you can select which copyright will be displayed. There are 8 options that describe the service that vBSEO provides.

Here are the linked options (with "vBSEO" as anchor text):

Michael - thanks for your opinion but my question was directed to the staff of vbSEO.

At any rate it should be an option NOT a requirement, specially if you pay for it.

We have clients that we do SEO work for and the last thing we want is a copyright of the tools we use.
