    Concerns before purchasing

I have been reading everything I can find on vbseo. Before I purchase, I have a couple concerns.

First, while doing some google searching, I can tell that vbseo is installed on a lot of vbulletin sites. However, you don't hear too much about the advantages or people saying that it dramatically increased their traffic and/or indexed pages.

Second, is it true that a link for VBseo is put into my forum when it is installed?

Third, is it true that the software contacts vbseo when it runs and will not work if the vbseo contact site is down?

I'm not trying to bash he product, I am really interested in it but do have these concerns.

    1) You can read customer reviews here: http://www.vbseo.com/f84/

    2) There is a copyright line shown, yes. There are 6 (or more) formats to choose from, and at least 3 do not have a link at all; they're just text. (See the footer of my site. http://www.fireblades.org/ ) Additionally, a branding-free option should be available for purchase within the next month or so.

    3) It only contacts the vbSEO server if it's unregistered and not licensed.

It only contacts our server IF your registration key is not stored within your configuration.

Let us know if you have further questions,
    Juan

Didn't find the option to do that? Where is it hidden?

You have to manually edit the config_vbseo.php to change that option. Download it, edit it in a text editor, and upload it again. And, the option will not be lost when you use the CP to make additional changes later.
