Hello ,

vBSEO works with all vBulletin 3.x versions. Regarding Dreamhost if they have mod_rewrite on their server and allow .htaccess usage then it is compatable with Dreamhost

Please make sure you uploaded .htaccess

Also please edit includes/config_vbseo.php and look for
PHP Code:
  define('VBSEO_CUSTOM_DOCROOT',         '');
and add your forum path between two brackets. It shall look like

PHP Code:
  define('VBSEO_CUSTOM_DOCROOT',         '/home/something/public_html/forum');

The error is after editing the config file as mentioned above by you.

Replaced

PHP Code:
 define('VBSEO_CUSTOM_DOCROOT',         '');
.... BY ...

PHP Code:
  define('VBSEO_CUSTOM_DOCROOT',         EDITED);

Please try to change it to:
PHP Code:
  define('VBSEO_CUSTOM_DOCROOT',         '/path/domain.com');
if it doesn't work, please open a support ticket with ftp access for troubleshooting.
