Can vbseo facilitate the indexing of vb tags?

I have a lot of users who use the tagging feature of vbulletin. Does vbseo facilitate the indexing of these tags in any way?

Does the site map creator make use of them in any way?

vBSEO will rewrite the tags to be something like tags/tag-name.html or tags/tag-name/

The sitemap generator has the option to include tags in the sitemap.

Is that option selectable somewhere in the sitemap generator?

Yes, it is located in the AdminCP once you install it.

You need to make sure you are using the latest version which is 2.5

Why is the number of Tag URLs almost as high as the number of my threads?

There is no benchmark to compare against.

Odds are, while only 1/3 of your threads may have tags, those that do usually have 3 tags per thread. Of course, this could vary greatly and is just an example.

Brian, you are correct. At first I just simply could not believe there were so many tags on my forum, but now I checked it by going to AdminCP > Threads > Tags. It is hard to believe, but yes, I have well over 2,000 tags, which is coincidentally about the same number as the thread count.
