I have a Harry Potter forums site. My forums are located at root, like this Harry Potter Message Boards :: SnitchSeeker.com
I am hoping to be able to set this up to write my forums as follows:
I have one section for "news", which is located on the breadcrumb like this:
SnitchSeeker.com > Forums > Daily Prophet > Harry Potter News
Can I set up vbseo to print the url like this:
or thisCode:http://www.snitchseeker.com/daily-prophet/harry-potter-news/
or so that both would work?Code:http://www.snitchseeker.com/harry-potter-news/
Next example, inside the news forum, there is a thread called "Detailed OotP Trailer description, transcript, screencaps"
Could I set the url to look like this:
In other words, without the forum name?Code:www.snitchseeker.com/detailed-ootp-trailer-description-transcript-screencaps.htm
I only want it to work like this for this one single forum. The other forums I would like to set up differently, like this...
Breadcrumb example:
SnitchSeeker.com > Forums > Wizarding World > Flourish and Blotts (Books) > Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Desired url for above:
And a thread in that forum called "What does Dumbledore really know?" to be like this:Code:www.snitchseeker.com/wizarding-world/books/harry-potter-half-blood-prince/
Notice the change of the path to the forum from /harry-potter-falf-blood-prince/ to /hbp/ because don't long URLs get penalized?Code:www.snitchseeker.com/books/hbp/what-does-dumbledore-really-know.htm
In other words, how flexible is it? Can rules be customized on a per-forum basis? And even change when you are in a thread rather than in the forum?
Can somebody please answer my questions specifically (each example) rather than just a simple, "You can customize vbseo to do that".
Thank you!![]()
