    Buying/Installation sequence?

    Hi all,

I am in the middle of moving my forum to a new server, and my first order of business after that is to buy and install vbSEO.

I have a couple of questions:
    1. I also want to install a news/articles add-on, and have been looking at vbGeek's GARS addon and madebymary.com's vbNews addon. Does anyone have any opinions on which is better... or can you recommend a better add-on that works with vbSEO?

    2. Should I install the article/news addon first and then vbSEO, or the other way around? Or... does it even matter?

    Hello ,

I am using GARS and i can recommend the product. vBSEO has built in GARS support. I can't really comment on vBNews as i never used that product but GARS is one of the best and recommened addons for vBulletin.

It really doesn't matter which one you'll install first. vBSEO installation can be done less then 5 minutes same as GARS.

    Oh, OK. Thanks.

As far as the installation goes, do all add-ons have to be installed in the same directory as the forum? So, if I have my vb forum in /forums, does vbSEO and GARS have to be in the same directory?

You need to upload vBSEO files within your forum directory and it is same with Gars also.

I'm also running Photopost, ReviewPost, and vbAdvanced 2.2.1.

Any known issues with those? Are PhotoPost and ReviewPost compatible with vbSEO?

There are no known issues with the hacks mentioned above or any other vBulletin mod.
