    Hello,

A real license is required to obtain a test license. You can change your URL later, so if you have one in mind, just register that domain.

Then, we can create a test license for your local installation. Note, it will need a domain name in order to connect to our license server. You can edit your HOSTS file to point anything, like iwantthisdomain.com to 127.0.0.1, and then you can access your site via that domain locally and the license will be tied to that domain.

    Hello,

You can buy it and set it to the URL you will use it on, you can then request a test install in the support system.

    Thumbs up

    Hello Brian & Michael,

thank you for your quick response!

    just to be sure:
when i'm purchasing vbseo i can enter as example at "Exact Forum URL where vBSEO will be installed" http://thisismytestdomain.com (with or without www)

and afterward add this one into my windows/linux HOST file pointing to 127.0.0.1

then before i'm going online with the real domain i have to open an ticket where domain will be changed.

thank you again for the explanation.
