Depending on how long you have had your forum in the /forums/ sub-directory, it is probably best to leave it as is.

Thanks Joe but that's not really answering his question.

He asks if it is best for crawlability if the forums are located at root? Does it make any difference or is it better?

He also asks if this can be done with rewrite rules - something I also asked about in a thread (a day or two ago) and have not been answered.

I know you guys have a lot of threads to go through and people to help but it would be really nice (and more helpful) if you would try to answer each question posted. Not only for the original poster but for other people who venture in and read it.

    Thanks!

    Smile re:followup

To followup on my question. I just decided to keep the forum structure the way it has been for 1 yr. I would like to know for possible new site if it is best if one can to start the forum in a webroot directory ( no /forum/ ) and if this best maximizes vbSEO. On another note I have had nothing but fast answers with the support ticket mention since I am an owner of a vbSEO lic.

    Thansk.
