I would purchase it from here, but lets be honest with ourselves $150 is too expensive.

It really depends on the forum type and budget (of course). To keep things simple, the model is *one price* across the spectrum of forum types. So it ends up being a bargain for a big-board, and probably more steep for a new or non-active forum.

For smaller forums it comes down to the level of commitment the administrators/owners have to make it perform the best it can. If they are committed, then the investment is substantiated. If they are not committed, or plan on buying the software in hopes to install it, sit back and see the forum grow on its own, it becomes more of an "expensive" piece of software.
