I've read the recent posts regarding server requirements and the answer I see is basically:
1. Unix with Apache
or
2. Windows IIS with some kind of 3rd party mod_rewrite
How about Windows with Apache?

it should work with Windows/Apache as well, as long as mod_rewrite module is enabled.
