Also, just you opinion, what do you thing it's better :

    Announcements & Pre-Sales - Pre-Sales Questions at vBSEO.com
    or

The point is not so much to *trick* the search engines into thinking that absolutely no script processing occurs. And, in rare cases (such as the "sorting" example you provided), it certainly does become evident that these parameters are being passed to a script, as they would be useless to a HTML document alone.

The greatest benefits of using a static link structure are to:
    • Create a 1-URL-per-resource (or "page") environment
    • Create full link consistency and consensus
    • To inject rich keywords into the URL format (Content Relevant URLs)
On the topic of keyword consistency and consensus, you should definitely check out:

Also: In my opinion, /f55/ is better than /f55 (no trailing slash).

Also, do note that vBSEO effectively keeps spiders from indexing such pages by adding rel="nofollow" on-the-fly to ANY URL instance with a query string appended, EVEN those posted by members, check out the html source for this link. This method has proven to be a lot more effective than manually adding the rel="nofollow" to individual templates.

    Proof:
    2660 dupe results
for default vB vs. "None, Zero, Nada" polluted URLs in vBSEO... and that's for 'desc' sorting alone.
