301 Redirects to Preserve Index Status

Hey, I have a quick question.

I've got a "Big Board" with around a quarter million pages already indexed in Google. Needless to say I'm concerned with preserving if not improving on that number.

If I implemented VBSEO, is there support for 301 redirects to the new keyword-laden pages?

Also, the last time I compared another site in the same niche as ours, that was running VBSEO, they had a dramatically lower number of pages cached proportional to the size of our sites. Is there any sort of guarantee provided that by installing this product you won't suffer an unreasonably (50% or greater) loss of pages indexed in the SERPS?

One more question: is it possible to just use this tool to embed the forum name in the URL, and/or rewrite only the forumdisplay pages to have a keyword, in an effort to reduce the amount of resources needed by the server?

    Thanks.

Yes there is. I am about to install on one of my big boards and that feature was a must. It does just exactly what it should do.

You can turn on/off rewriting or any page when you configure it. So yes it can be done.

There are many configurations possible. The most important part is to ensure you have link consistency and consensus:
Pin the Tail on the SEO Donkey (with Link Consensus)!

    Excellent. Thanks for the answers.

Also, how do I get a shiny "Big Board Admin" tag too?
