Hi Joe,
When you you expect to find/create a hosting solution?
I'm getting really fed up with the poor connectivity I'm getting from my host....I made a big complaint about a month ago and It magically fixed itself after some persistance on my pary, but for the last week it has gone back to being awful (quite a few times an hour, the site just won't be available for a few minutes at a time).
Callum
**Update**:
It just happed to me again
Sometimes when it times-out, it shows this info (even though I have made no "changes" whatsoever!):
Oppss... It seems you have made some changes, which have caused a few problems. Please view below...
If you are the website administrator, please review Internal Server Error 500. This will provide you with insight into how to resolve this issue.
- Incorrect file and/or folder permissions (greater than 755)
- .htaccess issue (php_flag, php_value statements,etc.)
- Other possible reasons

It turns out the Advanced Forum Statistics plugin was doing this (yes, the one that's about to win mod of the month!). I switched it off and now I have perfect performance

I was just wondering about the survey stat's or a little update of some sort. Anything is better then nothing.
- LiquidWeb, HostICan, HostGator, ThePlanet, ASmallOrange, DreamHost, Servage, SoftLayer, and All-Inkl seemed to be used most commonly.
- 75% of users have had to change hosts at least one time.
- Around 10% of users have actually had their site disabled by the host.
- HostGator seems to be one that is commonly used, but we also seem to get a higher volume of negative feedback on the forums.
- Some of the notable horror stories related to ValueWeb and DreamHost allegedly blocking Googlebot from crawling the sites, without notice.
- In the case of DreamHost, the user claimed that an admin DreamHost actually added a line to .htaccess for the site to block GoogleBot without authorization.
- Consensus seems to be to avoid the cheaper shared hosting environments, as you typically get what you pay for. Many respondents are on servers with 100s or even 1000s of other sites getting hosted from the same box.
Hi
Any news on vBSEO Web Hosting??
I really could need a reliable host for my forums
Can we host all our webpages on this or just forum stuff?
We believe that we can provide a better quality of service in the hosting area, since we would work to establish an optimized hosting environment specialized forums. We would not do so unless we were 100% certain that we could deliver a superior service to all of our customers. At this time, we are not actively pursuing it, although I would not rule it out completely.
We are definitely still upset by the number of issues our clients have with inadequate hosting providers. Since we know an overloaded or non-robust server can negatively impact SEO, we may not be able to serve our customers to the maximum of our abilities without considering a hosting service as an option at some time in the future.
With all due respect I honestly do not see how you are qualified to offer hosting.
For the last couple of weeks the DNS for both VBSeo.com and crawlability.com have not been setup correctly, which has meant that I have had serious issues reaching this site.
Some of the time it is reachable, other times it isn't.
I log into vbseo every day and it always works. Your location says your in Ireland, perhaps you need to wait a little while longer than i have to for the site to load.
