    Hey there...

Just wondering if there is any idea of when some kind of report or recommendation based on this survey will be released?

It's on my list of things to do to prepare some highlights from the findings. Sorry for the delay.

We should really look at getting these errors pages customized, since this is a basic access restriction for all users, not just customers.

Forums and permissions etc are entirely different from a survey that we take...
As a participant we should have the right to view the results...that doesn't make sense with you comparing it to a forum and its permissions. Forums are understandable if we can't view them we don't need access to them...

The survey plugin was designed to use the standard vBulletin permissions error.

When creating a survey, the creator has the option of allowing the results to be public or private.

I took the survey. I found this thread becuase I was searching the forum for a recommendation. I'm currently hosting 4 small vB forums on a shared hosting account and the set-up is fine, but lately, the server is not very responsive and my members are complaining. I need a reliable solution (but one I don't have to manage!).
I'm using vbSEO for my precious metals forum.

Thank, can't wait for the info. I'm setting up a second site that I will be adding a vBulletin forum too in the next couple of months. I'm frothing at the mouth to hear about a host that does it all in terms of hosting / vBulletin / vBSEO.

whos to say vbseo's will be any different.. there not gonna "under sell" there servers hell no.. there just trying to find new ways to make more money. lol - there not gonna have like 20 users per server... as they would lose out on money, an if they did would be like 12$ a month, which isnt worth it in the long run. since another web hosting company could do you just as good.. before i got my own dedis i worked using shared/resellers.. i never had a problem.

and i bet its going to be another fee for them to throw at us. when it should be included with every lisence, as long as you keep your lisence active or go i would agree.

And here all this time I thought VBSEO was a not-for-profit.

Wow, I got an email that there was two replies to this thread and checked it eagerly hoping to read more info. Instead, I wish I could have the last 30 seconds of my life back.

    Martyn,

What part of the following statement makes you think that?

We're going to do some number crunching and find out how we can hopefully identify the source of the perfect vBulletin/vBSEO hosting solution, or create one that does! We want your hosting problems terminated, effective ASAP!
The 'or create one that does'?

If you hadn't noticed, not one of the Staff comments in this thread mention anything about vBSEO becoming a Webhost.

The point of this Survey is to be able to identify for our customers, the best webhosting available.
