You HAVE to upload in BINARY. FOrce it to upload in BINARY. I did the same thing at first.

Are there any changes to the htaccess file? i would rather keep my old one as i have made alot of changes to it as i used to use my own seo mod before.

I was wondering about pingback/trackback spam? I know I had totally disable the feature on my blog because of spam, is anyone having any problems with their forums? Would be cool to be able to enter them into a mod queue before publicizing them... Or something similar to what you can do with Wordpress: require one pingback/trackback to be approved, then any more from the same URL would be auto-approved.
