Exclamation vBSEO v3.0.0 Release Candidate 2 is now available!

We are excited to announce that vBSEO v3.0.0 RC2 is now available in the download area for all licensed vBSEO owners!

As some of you may have noticed, RC2 has been available in the download area for a few days now. Although it was intended as a pre-release version, we were confident about it's stability and decided to make it available publicly.

Not only is vBSEO v3.0.0 compatible with the most recent series of vBulletin (v3.6.x) it also includes many, MANY new features (that will be outlined with the final release) and of course, the much anticipated Ping/Trackback feature.

If you are not familiar with Pings/Trackbacks, please review the Ping/Trackback Tutorial. This tutorial comes standard with vBSEO v3.0.0, and will be available on your own forum once you enable this feature.

    What is a "Release Candidate"?
A release candidate differs from a beta release in that there are no known bugs. However, this does not mean that there aren't any bugs. A release candidate represents a version of the software that we believe is ready for release, but requires more testing before we're sure.

RC2 is the most recent version and includes all the latest fixes. RC1 shouldn't be downloaded; instead, stick with the most recent.

You are correct; all files will need to be uploaded. Please follow the upgrade instructions included in the download.

That is good news, coz vbseo has lagged my forum ever since installing it. hopefully it will ease the server load a bit.
