Hi,
That is no problem, 2.5 is higher up the list because 2.6 is still a fairly early beta and unless you are on vB4 for now it is recommended you stay using 2.5.

Alright, I'm using vB4. I have run into a problem, previously when I was using vb 3.x I used vBSEO Sitemap Gen. Now that I am using vB4 + vBSEO, I decided I would try the sitemap generator again. I followed the install instructions and submitted the sitemap to google. Unfortunately it is telling me I have an error from Feb 23rd. See screenshot.
Any suggestions? The sitemap clearly works when I visit it from firefox, I'm not sure why google is saying it is not found. Think it is a problem with google caching or something? Also, when I submitted 10 minutes ago it said 21k urls, now it says 19k (as if it is reverting to the old one). And just to be clear, the old sitemap was deleted and cleared both from google (weeks ago) and from my website (weeks ago once again). I've tried resubmitting once or twice within the past 20 minutes but I don't want to aggravate google somehow by submitting it too many times.
if it's from the 23rd, its probably an old error. It should drop out eventually if it is in fact working now.
It could have been when you deleted the xml/gz files, it tried to view your sitemap at the same time and produced the 404.

I'm running this on vB4, but would like to know how I can get it to generate the url's for 'Articles' as well.
Or is that one for the next release?
It doesn't publ;ish normal articles that haven't been published as cms articles though, eg; I'm building up a player database, and dont want to have to clutter the main page up with these additional articles just so they get indexed, is this going to be addressed in future updates?

No my question is Sitemap Generator ever publish Articles that are not published to the 'Front Page' but are published as 'Articles'
eg; Stoke City FC - Delilahs Forum - Richard Coates has been added as an article, but has not been published to the front page, so it is not being picked up by SMG. The only wasy that SMG seems to pick them up is by publishing to the front page, but that would then clutter up the main page which in this case player profiles from years back that I don't really want on the front page?
So in short, the articles are being published, but not being picked up by SMG
the "front page" (and the rest of the CMS) does not exist in vb 3.x... only in vb4. sitemap 2.5 does not support vb4. you must use sitemap 2.6 for vb4.
