vBSEO Sitemap Generator 2.5 Released

What's improved in this? I still get these errors from Google:

All the URLs in your Sitemap have the same priority.
All the URLs in your Sitemap are set to the same priority (not the default priority). Priority indicates the importance of a particular URL relative to other URLs on your site, and doesn't impact your site's performance in search results. If all URLs have the same priority, Google can't tell which are more important. Help

Why is it so hard to provide clear instructions? This is what gives geeks a bad name, and why you need writers on your staff.

There are a lot of files in that folder. There are *.gz files, *.log files, a *.dat file, and a *.php file. Do I blow everything away, just the *.gz files, or what.

And then after I do that, what do I have to do in the vbseo sitemap control panel to, as was said, regenerate the sitemaps?

Thanks, but don't assume anything. People who buy toasters buy them because they want toast. You don't assume they know how to fix them when they break.

Here we go again:

Deleted the sitemaps, told the program to generate them anew. It did its thing for a while and then spit this out:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3932160 bytes)

Installed and its working for me.

Sitemap Generator is working correctly. You are facing problems because of your configuration and staff is asisting you to solve the problems you face. Instead of trying to teach staff their job , it is best for you to apply their suggestions. Just my two cents.

You should disable yahoo format text base sitemap generation within sitemap settings.

I responded that said staff has given three different solutions to this problem. I also stated that users of the software should expect not to have any of these problems. I upgraded and followed directions precisely. Why should there be problems? Rather than berating your users for expressing justified dissatisfaction with a half-baked product, why not fix the product?
