Hello Marco, I tried to update at last version, and in the Sitemap I noted only the CMS section's, not the articles...is it normal or is there some problem?

Sections and Articles will both be included when you select CMS rewrites on. Category URL's will not be included. Further customization will be offered in latter versions.

I understand, it's strange because I checked the sitemap file and I saw only the CMS section's, not articles. Please Ceri, when you have free time, can you look at this thread? I opened it in the specific forum.

We do not give estimates. It will be released when its coded, tested, and packaged for delivery.

Do we need sitemap generator for vBulletin 4.0? I couldn't find anything on this. Or is it only for vb 3.8 and before?

I see vb 4.0 has an XML sitemap generator built in, but when I look at the URL structure it uses, it's using:

www.domain.com/forums/showthread.php?t=xxx

Does that matter? Meaning, my URL structure is more like:

http://www.domain.com/forums/f5/seo-...re-383838.html

as an example.

So shouldn't the XML sitemap use the same format, or is it ok that the sitemap points to the "showthread..." version of the link?

I was using the v2.2 all the time, now 2.5 released. Thank you

I seem to have a problem , new install of vbulletin , new install of vbseo and ive just installed vbseo sitemap beta version.

I setup my settings and then go to vbseo sitemap reports in the admincp and i get this error :

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in [path]/global.php(29) : eval()'d code on line 39

Any idea what that can be ? , I have other forums with the same setup with no problems.

sitemap 2.5 is not compatible with vb4. You must use sitemap 2.6 beta 2 from the downloads area.

in fact, sitemap 2.5 should be considered obsolete for ALL versions at this point in time. beta2 of sitemap 2.6 is VERY stable and will move into production shortly with virtually no code changes.

As such, i am closing this thread down now. Upgrade to sitemap 2.6.
