Not a hurry, but will be nice to don't let them see this widget. So, this is more inclusive rather than excluding option (are less people in charge to see this statistics, more than admins ocationally).

Please, put an option to enable ignoring the option of usergroups selected to see the widget, and right after another option, textfield, to put a list (this time a space or comma separated) of UserID who are permitted to see the widget. That way we can specific more granulary the admins (or even non-admins) who can see the widget and stats (sometimes those stats are really "personal" and/or important, to not let other people see them; "advertisement" speaking).

Keep the suggestions coming. We are listening.

Yes I am running LiveStats Beta 1

It does the same thing in firefox 3.0.6. IE 7 it doesn't work at all. Just gives me a error message when I click on the stats button. I don't run chrome. Hope this helps.

great looking widget!

I haven't installed so forgive me if the following exists...

It would be great if:

• app had a backend interface (on/off side widget option; backend displays more info) (PRO?)
• app had a backend interface to utilize data to create pdfs/html/etc for advertising purposes (PRO?)
• widget can show Adsense stats delivered to Analytics

I know this might be more than what you planned but I have nothing to lose by posting it.

The initial post doesnt explain enough about this...

#1 Is this "Stats" button displayed to ALL visitors or just the Admin ? I'd like it to only display to Admin.

#2 how is this considered "live stats" when google only updates their stats once a day per site.

1) You can define the usergroupid that you want to be able to see it

2) It is as live as possible

Here is my suggestion:

The Tab itself is named "STats", but honestly: I don´t need this information. I know what it is, and I think most of the users will not publish it to all but just use it for the Admins. They don´t need the information "stats".

So why not use the Tab for other Information? What I would love is to have sdome indicators:

- Visits compared with yesterday
- Visits compared with the same day last week
- Visits compared with the same day last year
- Average visits of the month compared with last month
- Hits by a special keyword growing or sinking

Things like that. All of this "Quick-Informations" can be shown with little icons (arrow up, arrow down). So the Admins can have the quickest Information without the need to "open" the stats-window.

Possibly even more interesting, especially for vBulletin: Put in the stats-Information the Key that is the most used search-key to come on the site. And I mean "this site", not the whole website.

With this the Admin always sees directly what the top-refering key for the site itself is. Makes sense for me ... I don´t wnat to search analytics for every single site. But the combination of two values is very interesting for me when I am in my forum:

- Which is the Key, that brings users to the site I am on right now
- How big is the traffic by that key. Just to have an Idea if this is an important "Entry-Page" right now.

Very, very usefull for my opinion! And much more usefull then the ifnormation "stats". ;-)

Well, foreach on line 314 ajax_start plugin is this:

Then tried some debugs in login function method, it sends post request properly but there is something odd in successfull login response:

Widget slows down large pages, it would be nice if sparklines and stats to be shown in forumhome beside forum statistics as visit stats

Thanks but i mean allow the user to switch it off, for example me be able to switch it off on vBSEO forums.. I'm not interested in seeing it, so no point slowing down pageloads and making scrolling jumpy for nothing.

Aha, this feature is not implemented yet but nice suggestion

me too, cookie based or an option in usercp where each user can turn it off by default would be usefull either

Once a hour, and they are delayed by 3 hours (sometimes 4).
Once a day, then, it recalculates and consolidates data for current day
