    Not working on vbadvanced, at least on my sites. The tab is there, but is just suspends in the "loading" mode and nothing ever comes up.

    Hi there,

    I can't find any use of this add-on while there is google analytics, the only difference seems that it is live, any other benetifs I can't see?

    It has nothing more than GA has by it self... but it makes it REAL easy to see that particular thread/page/etc stats right away without going through filters, etc in GA to find that page.

    I've updated the first post with new LiveStats widget build (Alpha 3).
    It includes:

    1. Layout/css bug fixes

    2. Login form is displayed in a widget when no login/password defined or defined incorrectly.

    3. Keep session alive setting added. It allows to set a browser cookie that will keep connection between livestats and GA, so it won't be required for the script to send login requests every time the widget is opened and that increases response time.

    Also, when no user/password is defined in vB admincp they can use login forum with "keep alive" checkbox to be able to access widget until browser is closed without login details openly saved in admincp.

    There is also a "save login" checkbox that automatically stores user/password in admincp options.

    4. You can specify the usergroups list that will have access to the widget.

    Note: for better security you can create a separate analytics account and grant read-only access for stat reports to it (instead of providing main google account login/password).

    Ah, yes - forgot to mention that. Now you can specify which usergroups will have access to to the widget. Default is usergroup 6 (Administrators).

    Still doesn't work in IE8
