vBSEO 3.6.0 Gold Released!

Hello,

I just paid using paypal and completed my renewal of my license so that I can get MaxCDN.

After completing order in Paypal it redirected me to this page



When I clicked on "Sign up for MAXCDN", it's giving me error with the following



This is the first time I am renewing my license. I never accessed my renewal page before in the past or even tried to renew until this point of time.

So, I do not understand why I am getting this error.

Please help. If I cannot get MaxCDN because you feel I screwed up somewhere, then can I get my 35$ back that I paid for the vBSEO renewal? I will most probably not be running my forums after an year and will not need this renewal.

EDIT: I just received the order confirmation email from vBSEO, and now when I click on "Sign up for MAXCDN" it took me to the order page.

May be you should add this piece of information somewhere, that people should wait for the email before clicking on the MaxCDN link

Also there is a line on the order page, that said Paypal would be only available after 14th? I don't think thats needed anymore.

This is really not funny. I renewed my account. On the order complete page I first waited a few minutes until I received the confirmation email from vBSEO that I successfully renewed. I also checked my download page to confirm the renewal. I then went back to the order complete page and followed the link to sign up for my MAXCDN account. It took me to the signup page. I completed everything there, but now it wants me to pay the 39.95 for MAXCDN? Can someone please advise. I have really been extremely careful here.

If you LEFT the order confirmation page to do any of the above, it is too late. You would need to open a new tab/window/etc to view other areas. The order confirmation page can only load ONCE.

I just downloaded and upgraded my vbseo to this gold version. However when I did the upgrade it never gave me an option to change my password when I had to put in the new key.

So if I were to log out would I be locked out of the vbseo control panel since I didnt change the password? Install appeared to work fine is there a way to make sure all is installed correctly?

I did not close the order confirmation page. I opened a new tab. But it is OK, MAXCD already sorted it out for me. There is something wrong on their side. And I would suggest you guys sort it out with them. You might get more issues from vBSEO customers.

All this MaxCDN confirmation page coming only once etc is really weird. It worked well for me, but I see a lot of others complaining. Why not make it more user-friendly?

Well I just gave up after a three tries when this went Gold . I never received any coupon promotion and trying to find out why or get past go at this point is becoming too time consuming now. I'll have to take some weekend off to get past go on this one. I get how it all goes but ... I can see how a big majority will pass from confusion.

If its a free try, why can't I and why do I need to give them my CC. It keeps me from pushing forward.

I bet MaxCDN isn't getting the signups like they expected.

I believe I was one of the few that had renewed when your conformation system was down. I couldn't renew my vbseo license until I was personally emailed with it.

The password is entered first (twice) then the key screen appears. If you didn't see this, you should re-upload all files again.

We have not been notified of any issues on their end. I apologize for the issue but I'm not aware of anything currently.

We need to ensure that it
A) requires a purchase
B) limits 1 promo per customer

The only way to do this is how it is currently set up, to work only once at that time of order.

There is no coupon. Please read the first post again.

When you make an order (renewal or new license), you return to a order confirmation page. Do not CLOSE or navigate away from this page.
Make sure you receive an email that your license has processed.
Then, and ONLY then, click though on the link at the bottom to the maxcdn promo.

Any other variation will not work and it will void your chance at accessing the promo, as per the announcement. We (staff) cannot undo or change this.

Hello Juan, I purchased the VBSEO 3.6.0 RC. There were details around when the GOLD release was released information would be stored there. Am I eligible for the free 1 year account?

If you purchased AFTER this announcement was published, you should have seen the link to the maxCDN promo.

If you purchased BEFORE this announcement was published, a new purchase (renewal, license) is required to receive the promotion.

Hello Brian, I can see the value of using this. I was able to get it working but without error. I opened a ticket with the problems I am having.

I checked through this thread and I would like to know, if all the new features such as: Like Tree etc.. still work on older versions liek vB 3.6, 3.7 etc.. Or these are just for vBulletin 4.x

Yes, the like tree works on vb3 as well.
