I am not happy either. My license here expires on the 1 April. I upgraded to VB4 with full intention of using VBSEO 3.5. Does this mean I will have to renew my license to get this upgrade that is the ONLY one that works with VB4?

We were told VBSEO full release would be done the same time VB 4 gold came out. So I built my site using VB4!

Look what they have to program vbseo on to tho. With so much changing every month, new bugs, old bugs, the list goes on. vBseo does not have an easy task ahead of them but they are doing a great job. Already RC2 is really good, I have not come across any problems with running it on one of my live sites.

I wish it was out a little faster too, but I can understand why...

Precisely my point. I was almost ready to use Wordpress as a frontend when vB announced the Suite product. I was very happy back then and decided to go with it.

With so much changing every month, new bugs, old bugs, the list goes on. vBseo does not have an easy task ahead of them but they are doing a great job.
I agree with the fact that vB 4 was a total disaster. But now 4.0.2 is out and it's stable enough for most of the forums but still no vBSEO Final. Huge boards like DigitalPoint are upgraded to vB4 without much problems.

Now vB 4.0.3 is in QA and .0.4 is being developed with improved Stylevar system. More than that they will be rewriting everything one by one through 4.1.x, 4.2.x ... So my point is that there will be a lot of changes in every version. With each change vBSEO might need to do some fixes. But that;s the business, right? That's why we are paying for the product. You can easily advice vBSEO customers not to upgrade to a new version vB until vBSEO is tested in that version.

What I'm feeling is that since everybody blames IB for the vB4 mess, vBSEO is slowing down it's innovation. I'm using the product since the 2.x days and never felt about this product like this. Today is the 80th day since the vB4 release.

I demand a clear explanation from the Staff, not just the same old 'vB4 is buggy' story.

I can't believe its been almost a month now and its still RC2.

Maybe you guys would gain more respect from us by putting the blame on somebody...like maybe vBulletin ?

I have a lot of members on my forum right now that are pis*ed off that were still on 3.8. And I'M getting blamed for it. Maybe you should hire more people on your staff because i'm sure your losing more members by the day.

vBSEO 3.5 has been "production ready" since RC1, except for a few minor bugs that have been corrected over the course of the later builds (RC2 Pre-Release and RC2 Final). A big number of customers are running it in production environments with no problems. We however have opted to keep it in "RC" state until vB4 reaches *production* standards. For vBSEO, the process was labeled "RC1, RC2 and RC3", while for vBulletin, the process was labeled "4.0.1, 4.0.2 and 4.0.3". Both are essentially the same, vBSEO is just using a different versioning scheme.

RC3 is scheduled for release concurrent with (or shortly after) the release of vBulletin 4.0.3. Thank-you all for your patience.
