I seem to have done that functionality just using the vbseocp and changing the forum urls section and prefix'ing everthing with forums/ in each box there with custom settings and it appears to work. Is it better the other way?

We currently do not release ETAs. According to schedule we will have a RC3 (which I am told should be a short one) and then final.

Wasnt 3.5 to be released the same week as 4.0.2?

4.0.2 had quite a few changes from 4.0.1 which made us need to adjust some code.

... and there's no telling what is to change in future versions either. There are rumors that the stylevar system is getting totally re-done in the next or upcoming version that may require us to re-code a lot of items. That's the unfortunate problem of being an 'add-on' software company. We are forced to follow the parent product's lead in everything they do.

I'm using the latest RC of vBSEO with 4.0.1. Should I upgrade to 4.0.2 or does it matter?

vBSEO is working on 4.0.2 for me.

The reason I ask is because Brain said there were a lot of things changed between 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 and you guys had to adjust the latest vBSEO RC because of that.

A lot of the things changed are fixes in vBulletin. I would say if it is working, you do not need to upgrade.

pagination for cms is not working on 3.5 rc2 and this is a major issue... and no one know when this will be fixed.. i'm still waiting for a patch to fix this...

I agree. But it would be better with RC3 than just a patch.

This is a known issue and will be fixed for RC3. Remember, 3.5 is NOT yet final software and it may contain bugs, like this. The rc's are officially released for evaluation/testing purposes.

God, I'm tired of waiting. I paid for the CMS license months ago and still not able to use it because vbSEO is not production quality yet. Hmm... I'm really really frustrated!
