I have the following problem, which might be related All images/icons disapeared are upgrading to beta 2

cannot add my password, it keeps looping

Make sure that your config.xml file is Chmod 666 if it is not it will not be able to save the new password and will continue to loop.

It has already been flagged and planned to add a check for this and output a warning instead of an endless loop.

Make sure to change it back to 644 after you have made the changes you want.

Did you read the readme.html and did the chmod??

CHMOD 666 the 'vB-root/vbseo/resources/xml/config.xml' file.

Did that... same problem!

The package has just been updated to remove the bug with CRR's and Custom redirects, if you downloaded before the timestamp on this message please re-download and install.

I just did that but I still have my problem with the icons/images missing since the img links are not pointing to the right location of the images folder :(

Any idea on how to solve that will be more than welcome :/

It will but for the time being you should stay away
The beta 2 has been tested on vb4.0 and there are many bug (for the time being) with 3.8.x

Cool, thanks for the confirmation. I will wait until vBSEO 3.5 goes Gold and works flawlessly with vBulletin 3.8.x.

This is really exciting! I can't wait for Gold...but I'll be holding off until Gold is released!

Hi Everyone,

The Beta 2 download has been updated again, please download and upgrade.

The following bugs have been fixed:

• CRR's and Custom 301 Redirects Fixed.
• vbseo Control Panel not Working IE8
• Enter format for Google Analytics External Links Tracking Selection

Important Notices:

• Make sure you save and XML backup before upgrading and import the file after or all settings will revert to default (settings are not automatically restored for now)
• Only Use single quotes in Relevant Replacements, the ability to use double quotes will be added in an upcoming release.
• Make sure that config.xml is chmod 666 to be able to set new password!
