vBSEO 3.5 Beta 1 Released

We will release an updated sitemap generator for vB 4.0

Right, as Mert points out, sitemap 2.6 will follow vbseo 3.5 gold release. If you are using vbseo, you should use the vbseo sitemap generator as well, as the vB built in one will not produce the correct URLs in the sitemap.

So I can use the current vBSEO sitemap generator? It works with vB4 and vBSEO 3.5?

Silly me, i installed the beta :( and now a few things go wrong, can i just redownload 3.3.0 and put that over a 3.5.0 install or will that make things even worse :(

No, 2.5 will not work with vB4. We will release vBSEO Sitemap Generator 2.6 latter this week. If you are really interested in getting your hands on 2.6 now we could arrange for you to receive an alpha version however there is currently no cms support. If you are interested please post a PM to me of Brian.

My site currently runs a heavily modified 3.8 installation and I have no plans on switching to vB4.

Hi Adam,

Yes 3.5 will still be fully compatible with 3.x we don't recommend upgrading to the beta ATM though as there are still some bugs and Beta 1 is mostly a compatibility version we will be adding more features and making 3.5 more stable in Beta 2 / RC1.
