vBSEO 3.5.1 Released, Livestats integrated dashboard (Livestats 1.0 RC4)

Hello vBSEO Friends and Customers,

We are happy to announce that vBSEO 3.5.1 is now available to all licensed users for installation on production servers with full support. You may download vBSEO 3.5.1 now from the downloads area.

Originally the plan was to release this build as an updated 3.5.0 Gold, with the new Livestats-integrated dashboard. As 3.5.0 Gold has been available for a while now, we decided to re-tag it as 3.5.1 for clarity purposes. In addition, this new build includes a number of fixes to issues reported since the release of 3.5.0

Live Stats
The long awaited Live Stats integration of the control panel is now available! You can now view your Organic Referrals statistics, powered by Google Analytics, right from within your vBSEO Control Panel. Note, this requires that you use Google Analytics through our CP and have vBSEO Livestats RC4 installed on your system. It has been release concurrently with vBSEO 3.5.1, and is available as a separate product here via the customer downloads area.

Installation Instructions
Instructions for installing and upgrading to vBSEO 3.5.1 are included in the readme.html file in the download package, in the /docs folder.

As of Beta 2, vBSEO 3.5 introduces a different file system structure which requires manual deletion of files located in the deprecated location. FTP into your site and delete the following files to maintain the best security of your website as these are no longer needed with vBSEO 3.5.x:

If you have already deleted these files from an earlier build or have never run vbseo 3.3.x or lower, you do not need to do it again as these won't exist.

Yes, vBSEO 3.5 is compatible with both vB4 and vB3.

Hi, I have downloaded vBSEO Livestats RC4 and the DOCS only show Installation and Upgrade instructions for VB4. I also only see one file. Does this work for both VB 3.8.5 and 4?

After uploading the files to my site i can no longer access my site....

i get :Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/*******/public_html/forums/vbseo/includes/functions_vbseo_crr.php on line 70

on every page, all i have done is upload the files via my ftp, i can't even get into admin cp to install the product file

Make sure you uploaded files correctly

Also please try not to post your problems in here. We have a designated Troubleshooting forum and Support Ticket system for support requests.

If you need assistance, please open a ticket or create a new thread in the proper forum. This is an announcement forum only, and you will get fast support in other areas.

I uploaded the files 3 times to make sure and it kept doing the same thing, i had to overwrite the files with the rc files, access my admincp and dissable vbseo, then reupload the 3.5.1 files, it seems to be working ok now

How exactly does the livestats work?
I've filled all the google analytics information for the product in the admincp, but when i click on the yellow stats icon it does not do anything? it just puts "#" at the end of the url

It should slide out just like tweetboard does. Again, this is not a tech support thread. please start a new thread or ticket for technical issues.

I'm on vB 3.8.4 PL2 with vBSEO 3.3.1
Do you recommend to upgrade to vBSEO 3.5.1 ? or just stick with 3.3.1 ?

We always recommend the latest gold release. At least, use 3.3.2. 3.5 is also considered gold on vb 3.x boards as well now, so it is deemed safe to run on production sites or both vb3 and vb4.

Another important notice : As vBSEO 3.5 hit gold , vBSEO 3.2.0 series will hit End Of Life soon.
