vBSEO 3.5.0 Gold release update

Hi all,

As previously announced, we anticipated vBSEO 3.5.0 RC3 to be our last Release Candidate before Gold. Three weeks into RC3, the current bug count status seems to indicate that this will be the case.

Part of the vBSEO development team traveled last week to San Francisco for Twitter's 1st developer conference. As some of you may already know, Iceland's volcanic ash halted trans-atlantic air traffic, forcing the team to delay their return dates. Although we were planning on making vBSEO 3.5 Gold available last week, the release date had to be delayed due to this situation.

vBSEO 3.5 Gold is now scheduled for release before end of next week. Thank-you all for your patience.

Seeing the benefits that broadcasting content to the "real-time" web has traffic-wise (we have the stats!), we are also brainstorming on ways to make vBulletin's new posts content available via the Twitter ecosystem. We will provide the community more info as these ideas materialize into a product for vB or a vBSEO feature.

Please feel free to make suggestions of any ideas you may have!

Loved the interview. Thanks. You guys really explained your new product very clearly (which I love btw, instantly bookmarked for our own Twitter profile). Plus it's always nice to see the people behind the products (although in all honestly I thought you all we're older ).

Great news, Finally it will be here.

So when is it being released then?

Is that a Spanish next week per chance ans are there any improvements for VB3,8 users, speed enhancements etc

Keep up the good work guys, this is one of the reasons I aint jumped ship to vb4 until this is sorted out.

End of next week has arrived and still no sign :P I just bought the license, putting of installing it as I am waiting for 3.5 gold.

Slowly i go become very angry. Since months i promise my Users the Update to vBulletin 4.0 - after the last Announcements for this Weekend. And again - i have told them that vBSEO is still the reason why we have to wait. Unacceptable!!!!

I assume 3.5.0 of vBSEO will work on vBulletin 3.8.5? I do wish to upgrade.

You don't have to wait. vBSEO 3.5.0 RC3 and vBSEO Sitemap Generator 2.6 Beta 2, both available from the Downloads section for active licenses, are working fine on 4.x.

You are going to have a lot more problems with vBulletin itself, since even at 4.03 there are numerous bugs remaining.

"This week" has not ended - 3.5 Gold is undergoing final QA, atm I'm testing the 'Organic referrals' stat graph implementation for the dashboard. Everything looks fine so far. I'll update everyone again as we get closer to the end of the day (vBSEO local time is AST). Thank-you all for your patience.

vBSEO 3.5 series are compatible with vBulletin 3.x and 4.x series
