This is bull *, my forum is * now because you guys don't have a proper way to deal with license key numbers.

My old one doesn't work and I purchased my license in November. It should be active until November 2009. What the *?

I can't believe how unprofessional this is, and I have no one to talk to over the phone?

    bull*.

"A new key is generated everytime you upgrade."

Is the response I get in a ticket.

Real, freaking helpful. Where was that key updated? Ridiculous.

I have a license that has expired, do I only need to renew to download this?

    Problem is now resolved.

Honestly, you guys need a better key system. There's obviously a bug in it, and it's extremely frustrated to run into an issue without a fast way to get a response.

You guys *need* to have a way to retrieve a license in a user's CP or something. Requiring to get it through support is not professional.

Either way, thanks for the promptness. I'm lucky I got to someone in time.

    Thanks guys!

I'm so glad to see the upgrade and to know it is compatible with vB 3.7.x. You made my day.

I responded within 6 minutes of your ticket being opened, and about 1 minute after your reply with more details.

Your license key is automatically sent to your vbseocp.php. Sometimes servers have issues that prevent the new key from going to your vbseocp.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

I agree, it was a prompt response.

However until you responded a customer, like me, has no idea how long it will take and under such a time of frustration, it's really concerning.

There should be an average wait time indicator, and a list of online people assisting with tickets. Otherwise you have no idea who is out there to help, is it too late, are they on another time zone?

Do you get my point? You need transparency when you do support.

Not a problem. We all get frustrated. Please note that we have techs located around the world and we try our best to answer as soon as we see the ticket.

Noted. I think you should surface that on the ticket site.

Communication is key in times of frustration (usually the case with tickets).

Awesome, I was WAITING to download and upgrade to this version. Glad to see its gold. Oh, very gold. Very, shiny gold! :P

I have lots of work to do around my site. Installing the upgrade to the boards itself, blog, and then this BIG vbseo upgrade! Crap!
