Thumbs down Warn people about slugs

If you have a forum called "this and that" but you have specified that you want it to go to a forum sub directory called just "this"; the process is called a slug and it is specified in your config_vbseo.php file - you should find this (at the end of the file) and copy / paste it into the new config file or your slugs will no longer work.

Unhappy Blog title and meta description

Is there any way of changing / specifying the default blog page plog.php's title and metas? At the moment I am just getting the same as on my root index page.

I would prefer an unic replacement per word in the thread.

I hope you could understand the question, my english is very poor.

    Thanks a lot.
Sorry you cannot define how many times an Acronym is replaced for a given term. In addition URL acronyms do not work at all unless the 'all text' option is enabled. I strongly suggest everyone avoid using the 'all text' option because the forum output will be messed up.

Awesome! I saw that this was released the other day, I've just not had time to update so I'll be doing that right now!

I'd like for you guys to check in the Feature Requests section for my posts about showing certain things for members only. I wrote it up so that we can improve the C2C even more and I would really think that we would want to implement at least some of my suggestions.

    None the less, great job!

Titles are very important for SEO, it will be used in the listing of Google so they want to list the highest quality titles, they even modify it themselves sometimes. As every niche is completely different, and the specifications of a high qaulity title can differ from niche to niche, it would be very nice to be able to configure a custom title and content "title extension" for every forum.

The title extension is added after the content title (e.g. Thread title - Custom forum extension).
I've found this in vBulletin.org, this allow to set "What Forum Title would you like to be displayed" and works very great with Search Engines.
Anyway I see there on vbseo.com the forum titles are custom too but don't see this parameter to set in vBSEO tool, so I think here they using my same hack.

    The product is called: product-forum_title_vbulletinzone.xml

    Great work guys!

I'd like you to contact me regarding the program. Just tell me some details about yourself and why you think that we should integrate an Italian GP.
What could be improved especially for the Italian people? Ideas on how to promote our products etc.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon
Never mind about I've just offered the translation
In any way if it will be again possible I will contact you.

Actually, not using a forum title as extention of the normal title at all (on non-forumhome pages) , is the best way to go AFAIK.

If you are going to add the same title extention on every page, then Google might notice you are trying to use the same keyword in every title. Not good. You need unique titles for every single page on your forum.

The best way to go is just writing keyword rich titles yourself, relevant to each topic. Especially for new board owners I would recommend they change titles written by their members to include more keywords that are content relevant to the topic itself. They do not need vbseo to do this for them, obviously.

    I agree.

Of course, you can instead have the forum title occur on every page (as it typically does) in a link back to the homepage, etc.

Over-optimization of the title for "a few terms" comes at the expense of traffic for "thousands of terms".
