Access my usercp .. view the latest release for download and then asked to purchase the product because I'm not a vbseo owner !?
Thanks upgraded without a hitch.

Hi Woody, when i link to your site and check your profiles, yours too are broken.
I would imagine google is indexing the 404's. Looks like a number of people are affected with this VBseo bug that has been around since rc6
This could explain why my indexed pages have disappeared.
His profile links work fine for me, and they have been working fine on my sites that were running RC6 for a long time.
If you have a problem on your site, please open a support ticket.
Keith, i suggest you review my screen shot. Not only do i have a problem on my site, but according to numerous other people there are problems on their sites!!!!!!!!!!
I linked from my rc8 site to his forum, not his root. His links are broken, just like numerous other sites.
How about instead of me opening a ticket your company responds the the very public BUG that vbseo has! And giving root access and everything else is NOT a proper solution, its a bandaid.
Don't try and pass it off, shame on you and your company. There are a number of people who are having this same bug, don't be mad that i am pointing out what others are overlooking.
I have 7 vbseo licenses and only the ones up to rc5 work properly (from what i can see myself, but we are at rc8... so what does that tell me), that is not right Keith! what about all the others that have paid for this product.
And further more, had i not seen this link HERE i may have never seen that my own vbseo product does not work fully, you guys couldnt even notify me of an issue. Will 404's help me get indexed Keith?
I think partial refunds for a buggy program would be fair and should be in order. I paid for a working product that aside from not delivering what it promises, also is broken.
According to that thread, Oleg is still working on the issue with vscope (and you, since you posted in that thread). So, there is no need to keep rehashing the same information everywhere. It only adds to the problem by not keeping all the information in one location.
Im sorry, you released a product without letting the public know that their indexed pages could be dropped due to 404s.
VBseo is only adding to the problem by releasing RCs that dont work proper, don't blame the consumer. I'm looking out for the best interest of the vbulletin community!!!
Keith, your forum is broken too.![]()
Replied to the other thread. Search engines shouldn't get 404's unless they happen to be following a link to your forum home from another site that is running RC6+. If you're using sitemaps, you should have an issue with 404's.
Ok, so i have 7 sites that link to each other, some very established and high traffic. So, when it is crawled by a bot to one of my other sites, 404 occurs. When 404 occurs your site according to the seo boards starts disappearing
What about vscope, i notice they have like 40 forums. What about the other people with licenses ?
I understand you guys are "working on it", but what does that mean? I am reluctant to give up access to my site every time VBSEO doesn't work proper yet i find out about errors on my site from people i don't even know.
RC8 has a bug and shouldn't be public, and a major bug at that. It will kill peoples indexed pages with the member profiles bring back 404s
vscope stopped replying to the support ticket, so we had to assume that his issue had been corrected. That's why I asked for additional information when you replied to the other thread.
I cant comment on what type of arrangements you have with a corporate business, but i know if i had paid for XX licenses and the product was broken and the company was "assuming" it was fixed, i would cry FOUL!
Ive spent over $1000 on licenses, not much, but again, its a $1000 more than you had before i bought them. I think a bit of effort should be put into resolving this issue globally before assuming its fixed.
I mean, vbseo is encrypted, how would they have fixed it when its a bug with your product? I know i cant fix it.
A global fix is needed and RC8 should not be released.
An update: that issue doesn't affect search engine indexing in any way. It only happens when referrer http header is provided from external website, which never happens when search engines crawl the site.Im sorry, you released a product without letting the public know that their indexed pages could be dropped due to 404s.
VBseo is only adding to the problem by releasing RCs that dont work proper, don't blame the consumer. I'm looking out for the best interest of the vbulletin community!!!
