If you have the ioncube directory under your foums directory, it's probably the ioncube version unless you switched to Zend at some point and didn't remove that directory.
If you open your existing vbseo.php in Notepad you will see a lot of garbage, but near the top you will see "Zend" in there somewhere if it's Zend.
grreat... thanks Keith!
EDIT: yep, it's Zend. Thanks again!
Small Bug - even the Phrases for Digg, Furl, Technocrati are translated via AdminCP (and still are) there where only the English Phrases shown at Editorpulldownmenu and at the Foot of the Postings - see here :

This statement (A bunch of performance enhancements have been implemented) is in regard to SEO performance or better performance as per server LOAD esp CPU?
If load related two thumbs up!
Thanks,
Upgrade only took a minute or two, was so simple and easy to update.
Thanks.
oh HUSH you![]()
Took me alot longer than 2 minutes to upgrade.
This was my first vbseo upgrade, but mainly, because of the topsites directory I have on my site, the former owner did alot of customizing to the config_vbseo.php file, and I had to copy alot of stuff over to the new config file.
Anyway, it's done. Now we'll see if I broke anything.![]()
Next time just use the backup feature of your vbseocp.php and then restore it.
Technically, you shouldn't even need to do that anymore since the options are stored in the datastore.![]()
When I upgrade, I upload the default config_vbseo.php file that comes with the package. Then, just visit vbseocp.php, set the password, and all the options *should* still be intact.
Of course, it is always suggested that you backup your settings first.
I believe the users of this product should also be aware of the current bug, i didn't notice it posted here in this thread.
Vbseo RC 6 Profile Bug -html. = Page not found
The bug has been confirmed in RC8 as well and i can personally replicate it with all my licenses.
This includes linking from my vbseo rc8 to other rc8 candidates (other sites i have no affiliation with)
Nice.
Has the "last modified header" bug been fixed by the way?
