    Wow, i'm impressed by the level of changes across the vBSEO forums and code as a whole, looks like i'll have to reaqqaint myself with this product all over again. Arent your fingers tired with all this additional coding, the additional features, and these outrageously long release announcements. Perhaps you could do something similar to how vBulletin announce updates and produce them individually post by post.

    For example;
    p1: Would include a quick summarisation of the update.
    p2: Would include purchase and download instructions.
    p3: Would include all the NEW FEATURES.
    p4: Would include all the NEW UPDATES.
    p5: Would include all the NEW FIXES.
    Just more organised and accessible this way.

    I like that idea of the vbulletin type announcement for new versions.

    I love you!

    Two more license purchases coming in the next few days. I was starting to get worried with the site going down for a short time and slowdown of updates (although I'm sure some users hated the frequency of all the updates we were getting, I loved them because it showed the level of support you guys were giving it). I see you were just saving them up for a bigger release. Now that my worries are squelched, money is acoming.

    Yep, we wanted this to be a memorable update ... yet we missed a bunch of stuff that was in the works!! The good thing is that "2.4.0" is still a pretty low number

    Thank you for the great update!

    Unfortunately the custom character rewrite rules don't work for me. Can you tell me why?

    That are my custom rewrite characters for polish, but they have no effect at all:

    Code:
    'Ą' => 'a',
    'ą' => 'a',
    'Ć' => 'c',
    'ć' => 'c',
    'Ę' => 'e',
    'ę' => 'e',
    'Ł' => 'l',
    'ł' => 'l',
    'Ń' => 'n',
    'ń' => 'n',
    'Ś' => 's',
    'ś' => 's',
    'Ź' => 'z',
    'ź' => 'z',
    'Ż' => 'z',
    'ż' => 'z',
    / edit:
    Unfortunately the character codes are replaced by the character itself here in the board so you can't see my custom rules.

    Upgraded
    http://forum.ragezone.com/

    ADD thread titles as "original-text (thread title)" - This option includes the original anchor text and then adds the thread title to the anchor text within parathesis right after the original anchor text.

    That is enabled but does not work?

    @rmjvol: PM Sent.

    @Michael & Brent: You would not believe me if I tell you that the only reason I've been keeping announcements to 1 post is to prevent the smart rel=nofollows from triggering... call me OCD'ish - I'll consider other options for future release announcements

    The new deal for adsense is awesome. These are the most relevent ads I have had throughout my threads.

    I wonder if it is any testament to that since I have made the most I have ever made in one day today

    I thought that too back when I was beta testing the new feature, but I found some info in the Adsense blog that says it can take a week or two for it to start looking at the Ad Targetting code. (FWIW, yesterday was my highest one-day total also, and I've been using the targetting for several weeks now.)

    Please note that it may take up to 1-2 weeks before you start to see changes to your ad targeting. Also, we want to make sure your ads are as effective as possible,so our technology detects whether section targeting will improve your results and implements automatically only if you'll earn more revenue.

    It may take "up to" that long, but I can vouch for an immediate change in the ads that were shown. I noticed it in the off-topic area of my forum. My ads generally stayed football related in these threads, now they are almost all related to the topic. This happened immediately after installing.

    I do agree there is a transition time as well, because today, they are even better targetted.

    I love this feature.
