vBSEO 2.3.0 Released

Upgraded easily to the new version, seems to be running smoothly, with the earlier reported bugs clearly ironed out. Good work again - Glad to see you finally updated the Buy vB SEO 2.3.0! header

Why aren't the downloads working. They seem to alert invalid or corrupt zip file. What should I do?

Dont OPEN it from the web.....

Save it to your PC first, then open it... that WILL fix it. This behaviour suggests you have a small issue with your PC and is nothing to do with vBSEO

Version 2.3.2 comprises only minor bug fixes and one new feature. It should be up on Monday.

When will this avalanche of updates slow down . As great as they are, and as essential as updates are, it is a pain when needing to update a large number of clients sites. I have not even updated my own for the last couple of updates given that they basically work well with the versions that I have installed.

Well done Juan on a great product, and great that there are still things that can be added, but you and the rest of us will certainly be looking forward to a settling down with the number of upgrades happening.

If they are working well for you, I wouldn't bother upgrading until it's needed.

Upgrades are fun, aren't they , kidding. However, I can't predict they will slow down or otherwise as there are some interesting things on the drawing board

With the next release, can you make it more obvious how to upgrade?

I am presuming you just upload all the files and then import the (backed up) settings file..... however, this is not made clear.

Upgrade Instructions:
(1) Close your forums via your admincp
(2) Remove the vBSEO 2.x Plugin via your admincp
(3) Install vBSEO as a product by uploading 'crawlability_vbseo.xml'
(4) Backup your vbseo_all.xml settings file (through 'forums/vbseocp.php')
(5) Upload all the files in the '/upload' folder
(6) Restore your previous settings by uploading your backup .XML file
(7) Re-open your forums

Note: Steps 2, 4 and 6 are for upgrades only and are not required when you are installing vBSEO for the first time.

Is 2.3.2 still arriving today?

Just wondering if it's worth me upgrading now... or wait for 2.3.2 ...... ETA anyone?

It only takes about 2 minutes to upgrade, so I don't see why not...
