aacircle yes this is an alternative Sitemap generator.
I also use UltraEdit and they handle .htaccess files fine.

Yeh, I had just installed TD2MAN's sitemap generator yesterday. Now I have both sitemap generator's installed.

Both are just as good, but will uninstall TD2MAN's generator because vBSEO's plugin seems will only grow further and is supported by a team.

T2DMan is a vB SEO moderator, so he surely is aware of what will work SEO wise, although i think that for vBSEO customers it is probally most efficient to use the homemade version

If upgrading on 3.5, do you just upload over the old files?

I've updated to 2.2.0, installed vBSEO Conditional Signatures and Google/Yahoo Sitemap Generator and got no problems.

Yes, replace the old files with the new ones (including the .htaccess directives) AND remove your previous .xml plugin and replace with the one included in the package.

So create a phrase to use for your meta description, and another phrase to use for some firstwords on your site. Means that each meta description and firstwords can be unique and not canned as my formulas have been in the past.

Now people need to be able to work all these things into their sites. Not straight forward. You certainly need some thinking to get it all happening. Thinking = SEO. All very well having the mechanics like vBSEO offers, but without selection of search terms, proper onpage seo using those terms, ...

But the way I see it, the RR feature is used to place keywords into the page title, metatags and description. However, doesn't VBSEO already do this?
