Hello vBSEO Testing Team & Forum Members,

vBSEO's official release, scheduled for August 23rd, will be delayed until further notice.

Although our testers have fully functional copies of RC6, we understand that many of the other forum admins have been eagerly awaiting our release. We apologize for the inconvience and will make it up to you by delivering a bulletproof product.

RC6 brought the flow of bug reports to a screeching halt. Likewise, the 'Custom Rewrite Rules' feature included with RC6 has been extremely well received - it allows forum admins to further customize vBSEO - ensuring compatibility with other hacks/mods/plugins/extensions they have installed for their vB forums.

With RC7, we will be correcting the final bugs in our tracking system. We will also be adding a change password tool for the vBSEO Control Panel. Those of you who have been testing and/or following the forums know that we leave no stone unturned when it comes to duplicate content. With that said, RC7 will include a new feature for "smart" rel=nofollow attribute modification. We will leave it as a surprise for now! You'll learn more upon release of RC7.

We will also be seeking additional members for the RC7 testing team. This time we would like to recruit more individuals with advanced expertise in SEO, with the goal of evaluating the vBSEO feature set and making suggestions on how to evolve the product.
