    Hi Oleg,

i'm glad to heard that i did the right thing, because a lot of people told me i had to write it in a special httpd entry --> didn't work.
Could it be possible - against all logic - that vBSEO speeds up the forum speed? My users told me that the board is faster than ever and i felt so too
However a really good modification I make a bit of promotion for you (all the forums i visit, eg. www.vbulletin-germany.com, www.vbhacks-germany.com etc.) ... *bg*

    Hi Sven,

Obviuosly, vBSEO always take some processing time and so slightly increases the *server load*. However, there are several points that may let your forums speed be experienced even better than before.

    1. With "Cleanup HTML Code" option enabled, vBSEO will remove unnneccesary parts of your html code thus reducing the real pages size and consequently improving the load speed.

    2. "Images Size Attributes" option will add width/height attributes for defined images in vB output, making it *feel* loading faster.
    quote from vBSEO 2.0 RC7 Released :
The default vBulletin templates do not include "width" and "height" attributes for included images. However, when these image dimensions are not provided, forum page rendering in most Web browsers will be slightly slower because the browser cannot determine sizing information for images until they download them. When this information is specified the browser can display text content in the right locations before the actual images are even downloaded. While this is a performance feature, there is also relevance to SEO.
